A Board & Train Program for Lasting Success
Where structure meets soul, and obedience becomes connection.
Our creekside training camp is an immersive, one-on-one experience designed to help your pup become calmer, more confident, and easier to live with in everyday life. Whether your dog pulls on leash, jumps on guests, barks at everything that moves, or just needs a solid foundation of manners, our board and train program gently guides them toward clarity and balance.
We believe that a well-trained dog isn’t just easier to manage—they’re happier, more secure, and more in tune with their people. That’s why we approach training with a balanced philosophy: using thoughtful structure, kind leadership, and clear communication to meet each dog where they are and help them grow.
No two dogs are the same, and neither are their training journeys. We tailor our program to suit your pup’s unique needs and personality—whether you’re aiming to teach basic cues like sit, stay, and come, pass the Canine Good Citizen test, or lay the groundwork for future therapy or service work.
What Your Dog Will Experience
While staying at Union Hill, your pup will live in a peaceful, nature-filled setting with daily practice sessions, supervised play, and plenty of time to rest and reset. Training is woven into every part of their day—on walks, during meals, and in quiet moments of reflection—because good behavior isn’t just a skill, it’s a lifestyle.
And when it’s time to reunite? You won’t be left wondering what’s next. You’ll receive a full handoff session to learn what your dog has been practicing and how to carry that progress into life at home.
We also include two private follow-up lessons after their stay—so you’re supported every step of the way, not just while they’re with us.

This course lays the groundwork for calm, cooperative behavior and is especially helpful for first-time pet parents or anyone wanting to start off on the right paw.

FOUNDATIONAL
Length: 3 weeks | Cost: $1050
For dogs ready to roam while staying close in heart and mind. This 3-week program introduces your pup to the world of both on- and off-leash obedience. It’s designed for dogs ages 5 months and up who are ready for a little more freedom—without sacrificing reliability or safety.
We’ll start with the basics: calm leash walking, sit, down, stay, place, and come—all taught first on a 6-foot leash, then a long line, and finally with off-leash practice. As your dog gains confidence and clarity, we gently introduce the e-collar as a communication tool to reinforce off-leash recall and strengthen their ability to respond, even around distractions.
This program is ideal for adventurous pups who love exploring but need a stronger sense of structure and listening—both at home and out in the world.
Note: This course includes e-collar training, used thoughtfully as a communication tool to create reliability and safety in off-leash environments. We always ensure that dogs are properly conditioned to the collar before any off-leash work begins.

It allows us the time and space to build trust, teach impulse control, and reinforce clear communication—so your dog doesn’t just know what to do, but feel confident doing it.
Your pup will work through daily structured training sessions, restful downtime, play, and enrichment, all in the calm rhythm of our peaceful countryside setting.
